United Way of Yavapai County

Like the 1,300 other United Ways in the country, United Way of Yavapai County operates independently of United Way of America (UWA)/ United Way World-wide (UWW). We're an autonomous 501(c)(3) organization that is governed by a local all-volunteer Board of Directors. Additionally, a volunteer committee of financial experts from the community meets year-round, monitoring the organization’s financial position.

The organization is committed to maintaining the most effective financial control practices available to ensure that any type of financial impropriety is prevented or quickly identified and appropriately addressed.

PRIVACY POLICY
United Way of Yavapai County, Arizona
United Way of Yavapai County respects the privacy of donors and safeguards the confidentiality of information that the donor would reasonably expect to be private.  Information learned by any representative of United Way of Yavapai County about a donor or a donor’s assets or philanthropic intentions shall be held in strict confidence by the staff, Committees andour Governing Boards.

Donors who reach special recognition levels may be acknowledged and published in various UWYC publications and campaign materials.  Donors at recognition levels may request to remain anonymous in these publications by indicating their wishes by contacting United Way of Yavapai County.  UWYC will honor requests by donors to remain anonymous.

United Way of Yavapai County does not sell, rent or exchange its mailing lists of donors, prospective donors, interested parties, etc.  UWYC will honor requests by donors to remain anonymous, have their names removed from mailing lists, or to restrict appeals.  Information about donors, amounts of their gifts, and other information that should be private will not be made public.
