2026–2027 Community Impact Funding Cycle

The 2026–2027 Community Impact Funding Cycle is launching soon!

Our Letter of Intent (LOI) process will open in the coming months. Full grant cycle dates will be posted as soon as they are finalized. We encourage agencies to begin preparing now.

LOI Eligibility Criteria

Organizations must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or school
  • Provide services primarily within Yavapai County
  • Demonstrate a minimum of three years of program existence
  • Maintain an active governing board
  • Align with at least one of the following impact areas:
    • Health
    • Education
    • Income
    • Working Poor Tax Credit (QCO)

How to Apply

Organizations planning to submit a Letter of Intent must create an account in our online grant system:

e-CImpact is United Way of Yavapai County’s online platform for managing the annual investment process. Through this system, agencies will:

  • Submit Letters of Intent and grant applications
  • Upload required reports and accountability documents
  • Communicate throughout the review process

Community volunteers serving on the Grant Review Committee will also access agency and program information through e-CImpact as part of their evaluation process.

Be the Difference Behind the Funding.

Are you passionate about your community? Curious how local nonprofits create measurable change across Yavapai County?

Join the Grant Review Committee and play a direct role in guiding how community funds are invested.

This is a meaningful, hands-on opportunity to learn, collaborate, and make a real impact.

What Will You Do?

  • Review nonprofit grant applications (provided in advance for flexible, at-home review)
  • Participate in team discussions
  • Attend agency site visits
  • Help determine funding recommendations

Applications will close prior to committee formation, and all materials will be made available electronically (or hard copies upon request) for your convenience.

How It Works

  • You’ll be placed on a team led by an experienced Team Captain
  • Training and guidance will be provided – no prior grant experience required
  • Reviews are completed on your own schedule – please take notes
  • Site visits are coordinated to accommodate team availability whenever possible

You will be guided on what to look for and how to evaluate applications effectively and fairly.

  • Community members who care deeply about Yavapai County
  • Individuals who enjoy collaboration and learning
  • Professionals interested in expanding their understanding of nonprofit impact
  • First-time reviewers – training is provided

No previous grant experience is necessary.
