Need help? United Way of Yavapai County is here for you. From crisis intervention and food and utility assistance to elder care, and more, we can connect you and the ones you love to the right community organization or government agency. All services are free and confidential.

You can obtain up to date resource information by calling our 2-1-1 help line. It’s similar to 911, but provides access to health and human service organizations. There, you can speak to a referral specialist who can give you referrals to help address your need. This information can also be accessed online at www.211Arizona.org. You can also call our office directly at (928) 778-6605 Monday- Thursday from 8am-5pm for local resource information.

Volunteerism plays a critical role in United Way. When you volunteer through United Way, you’re joining 2.9 million people who are giving back so others can get ahead. Join Us! Bring your passion! Get things done! LIVE UNITED.

Corporate, team & individual volunteer ​​opportunities offer a chance to work together to achieve a goal. Its team building at its best. They may be two hours long, day long, or even longer-term. If you are someone just looking to help out, we have opportunities for you to!

United Way’s role is to recruit people and organizations throughout Yavapai County who bring passion, expertise, and resources to get things done. Solutions are cultivated from within communities, building on their experiences and passions. It takes all of us – people, government, business, and nonprofits working in partnership to tackle social change. We are seeking corporate champions to come along side and help facilitate that change.

Businesses large and small and host employee giving campaigns, sponsor community events, create fund raisers, provide volunteer groups to work hand in hand the improve lives and build strong communities throughout Yavapai County. As a community-impact agent, UWYC identifies unmet needs and address them by funding programs and networking with our agencies to bring the most positive impact to the greatest number of people throughout our communities. United Way strives to provide quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and resources available for sustained good health. These pillars of a good life are the cornerstone of United Way. Agencies funded through our grant cycles must demonstrate their commitment to at least one of these care areas, and must be a 501c3 operating in and serving Yavapai County residents.
