These trainings are essential for nonprofits and businesses who wish
to excel in all aspects of their mission.

Reading Financials
Nonprofit financial statements are required for compliance with government regulations and GAAP standards, but these documents also provide an overview to your organization’s financial health. They can provide data driven decision making, allow for increased transparency, facilitate strategic planning and improve your risk management strategy. In this workshop, you will learn how to read and understand:

• Balance Sheet
• Profit & Loss Statement
• Cash Flow Statement

Day of Action is United Way’s largest volunteer event nationwide, and we would be honored for you to join us. We connect local businesses and community volunteers with our nonprofit partner agencies to help with special service projects aimed to build capacity, and better serve the community.
